Terms & Conditions and Academy Policies

Welcome to Inspire Greatness Learning Academy ("IGLA," "Academy," "we," "our," or "us"). By enrolling in our programs, using our services, accessing our website, or participating in tutoring sessions, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Mission Statement

At Inspire Greatness Learning Academy, our mission is to inspire confidence, empower success, and help every student achieve greatness through personalized academic support, educational enrichment, and family-centered learning solutions.

2. Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment is considered complete only after:

  • Completion of all required registration forms.

  • Receipt of signed agreements and policies.

  • Payment of required enrollment or registration fees.

  • Completion of any required assessments.

Parents/guardians must provide accurate and current information regarding the student’s educational needs, contact information, and emergency contacts.

The Academy reserves the right to deny or discontinue services if false, misleading, or incomplete information is provided.

3. Assessment Policy

All new students may be required to complete an academic assessment prior to beginning tutoring services.

Assessments may include:

  • Reading diagnostics

  • Mathematics diagnostics

  • Academic skills evaluations

  • Learning needs assessments

Assessment results are used solely to develop individualized learning plans and instructional recommendations.

The Academy does not guarantee specific assessment outcomes or grade-level advancement.

4. Tutoring Services

Tutoring services are designed to provide educational support and enrichment.

Services may include:

  • One-on-one tutoring

  • Small group tutoring

  • Homework assistance

  • Test preparation

  • Reading intervention

  • Math intervention

  • Academic coaching

  • Educational workshops

The Academy does not guarantee:

  • Specific grades

  • Test scores

  • Admission to educational programs

  • Academic promotion

Student success depends on attendance, participation, effort, and support outside of tutoring sessions.

5. Scheduling and Attendance

Parents are responsible for ensuring students attend scheduled sessions on time.

Students arriving late may receive shortened sessions without refund or extension.

Repeated tardiness may result in schedule adjustments or service termination.

Students should come prepared with:

  • Required materials

  • Homework assignments

  • Technology needed for virtual sessions

  • Positive attitude and readiness to learn

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

To maintain quality scheduling for all families:

Private Tutoring Sessions

  • Minimum 24-hour notice required for cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Academy-Initiated Cancellations

If the Academy must cancel a session due to instructor illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • A make-up session will be scheduled, or

  • A credit will be applied to the account.

7. Payment Policy

Payment is due according to the selected tutoring plan.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Electronic payments

  • Other approved payment methods

Failure to maintain current payments may result in:

  • Suspension of services

  • Cancellation of scheduled sessions

  • Additional administrative fees

Returned payments may incur additional charges.

8. Refund Policy

Registration fees, assessment fees, and administrative fees are non-refundable.

Unused tutoring sessions may be eligible for credit at the Academy's discretion.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Missed appointments

  • No-shows

  • Sessions completed as scheduled

Special circumstances will be reviewed individually.

9. Parent Responsibilities

Parents and guardians agree to:

  • Maintain current contact information.

  • Support student attendance and participation.

  • Communicate educational concerns promptly.

  • Ensure a suitable learning environment during virtual sessions.

  • Review progress reports and recommendations.

The Academy's effectiveness is enhanced when families actively participate in the educational process.

10. Student Expectations

Students are expected to:

  • Demonstrate respectful behavior.

  • Follow tutor's instructions.

  • Participate actively in sessions.

  • Use appropriate language and conduct.

  • Treat staff, tutors, and fellow students respectfully.

Disruptive behavior may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of services.

11. Virtual Learning Policy

For online tutoring sessions:

Students must:

  • Have access to reliable internet.

  • Use a functioning device.

  • Log in on time.

  • Participate appropriately.

The Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by:

  • Internet outages

  • Device malfunctions

  • Software failures beyond our control

12. Progress Reports and Academic Data

The Academy may provide:

  • Progress reports

  • Assessment summaries

  • Learning recommendations

  • Skill mastery updates

Parents acknowledge that educational progress varies among students and cannot be guaranteed.

13. Technology and IXL Usage

Students participating in assessment and progress monitoring services may receive access to educational platforms, including IXL.

By using Academy-provided educational accounts:

  • Students agree to use accounts for educational purposes only.

  • Login credentials must remain confidential.

  • Parents are responsible for supervising student use.

  • Only the student assigned login may be used; any other use will result in cancellation of IXL usage.

The Academy reserves the right to revoke platform access for misuse.

14. Privacy Policy

The Academy respects the privacy of students and families.

Information collected may include:

  • Student educational records

  • Contact information

  • Assessment results

  • Progress reports

  • Billing information

Information is used solely for educational and administrative purposes.

The Academy will not sell, rent, or distribute personal information except as required by law.

15. Photo and Media Release

With written parent permission, the Academy may use student photographs, testimonials, or project samples for:

  • Marketing materials

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Educational publications

Parents may opt out at any time in writing.

16. Limitation of Liability

Inspire Greatness Learning Academy shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of educational opportunities

  • Technology interruptions

  • Actions outside the Academy's reasonable control

Liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.

17. Non-Solicitation of Staff

Parents and students agree not to directly hire, contract, or solicit Academy tutors or staff outside of Academy services during enrollment and for twelve (12) months following termination of services.

Violation may result in legal action and damages.

18. Termination of Services

The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for:

  • Non-payment

  • Repeated missed appointments

  • Disruptive behavior

  • Violation of Academy policies

  • Safety concerns

  • Harassment of staff

Parents may terminate services with written notice according to their service agreement.

19. Policy Changes

The Academy reserves the right to modify policies, procedures, fees, and terms at any time.

Updated policies will be communicated to enrolled families and posted on the Academy website.

What is Inspire Greatness Learning Academy? Inspire Greatness Learning Academy is an Atlanta-based educational support organization serving students nationwide through virtual and personalized learning. We provide tutoring, academic intervention, assessments, progress monitoring, and enrichment services designed to help students build confidence and achieve academic success.

Do you provide virtual tutoring? Yes. Virtual tutoring is our primary service model and allows us to serve students nationwide.

What payment methods do you accept? Accepted payment methods may include: • Credit Cards • Debit Cards • Electronic Payments • Approved Online Payment Platforms

Do you offer in-person tutoring? Yes. Limited in-person tutoring is available based on tutor availability and location. Additional fees may apply.

What subjects do you offer? We provide support in: • Reading Intervention • Phonics • Reading Comprehension • Mathematics • ESOL Support • EIP Support • Homework Assistance • Academic Enrichment • Study Skills

Is the academic assessment free? Yes. The initial assessment is provided at no cost and helps us identify strengths, learning gaps, and instructional priorities.

ASSESSMENTS Is the consultation really free? Yes. Every new family receives a complimentary consultation to discuss academic concerns and determine how we can best support the student.

What payment methods do you accept? Accepted payment methods may include: • Credit Cards • Debit Cards • Electronic Payments • Approved Online Payment Platforms

Do you offer small group tutoring? Yes. Small group tutoring is available when students have similar academic needs and learning goals.

How often should my child attend tutoring? Most students benefit from one or two sessions per week. Recommendations are based on assessment results, academic needs, and family goals.

What grades do you serve? We currently serve students in: Kindergarten through Eighth Grade (K–8)
